Mamie Thompson died Saturday morning at 7 o'clock. The funeral was held Monday at 11 a.m. at Rockport, conducted by Rev. Helms of Columbus Grove. Mamie was a bright, lovable girl and by her death the parents lose the joy of their home, being the only child. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed by her associates. Her last words were, "come nearer mamma I'm going home." She was aged 17 years and 11 months.
